Does SU2 have the capability to perform gas reacting simulations and combustion problems in the current release? If not, are there plans to add this capability in the near future?

What concrete applications to you have in mind? We have some people working on thermochemistry (https://su2foundation.org/wp-content...9-SU2-NEMO.pdf). Also, I know that we have people working on combustion. I can get you in touch with these people if necessary.

I would like to simulate a gas reacting model of a rocket chamber and nozzle using a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen as fuel

Hi Jcownbey,

As Tim has mentioned, the is work being done to incorporate reacting flows with the coupling of the Mutation++ library. This should be incorporated into the develop branch in the near future. On that note, combustion with reacting gases will (hopefully) be implemented further down the road. We are always looking for extra developers, if interested!
