Dear,
I checked the test case of unsteady simulation of the pitching NACA64A010, and it ran well. But when I changed the grid movement from the rigid to deforming like this: % Type of mesh motion GRID_MOVEMENT_KIND= DEFORMING % % Coordinates of the motion origin MOTION_ORIGIN_X= 0.25 MOTION_ORIGIN_Y= 0.0 MOTION_ORIGIN_Z= 0.0 % % Motion mach number MACH_MOTION= 0.3 % % Moving wall boundary marker(s) MARKER_MOVING= ( airfoil ) % % Angular velocity vector (rad/s) about the motion origin ROTATION_RATE_X = 0.0 ROTATION_RATE_Y = 0.0 ROTATION_RATE_Z = 0.0 % % Pitching angular freq. (rad/s) about the motion origin PITCHING_OMEGA_X= 0.0 PITCHING_OMEGA_Y= 0.0 PITCHING_OMEGA_Z= 106.69842 % % Pitching amplitude (degrees) about the motion origin PITCHING_AMPL_X= 0.0 PITCHING_AMPL_Y= 0.0 PITCHING_AMPL_Z= 1.01 % It did not run and gave no message but this:. Does anyone know what happened here? Or if you run an unsteady simulation using deforming grid, could you send me a test case. Thank you very much ------------------------------ Begin Solver ----------------------------- Updating surface positions. Storing translating displacement for marker: airfoil.
