Hello,

I am trying to run a computations by specifying a velocity inlet profile. My configuration file is set up correctly, my inlet.dat profile is formatted correctly, however I am having troubles actually getting SU2 to work here.

The first problem is that you can only specify a "inlet" boundary condition rather than a "supersonic inlet" BC.

The second problem is that when I actually run the program, I manually have been extracting the data points correlated with my imposed inlet, and it seems that SU2 is setting it as a uniform inlet and ignoring my specifications.

Can anyone help? The only online tutorials is for an incompressible low-speed flow that isn't useful in this situation.

Hi,

inlet specification by file is only available for incompressible flow. At least that is my latest knowledge.
An error message should be there to prevent that in first place.

If you are interested in adding that feature by yourself you are more than welcome!

Sorry for the bad news
