Hi,
Thanks for interested of my post. I'm trying to run the shape optimization example "Constrained shape design of a transonic turbulent airfoil" with the command: python shape_optimization.py -g DISCRETE_ADJOINT -o SLSQP -f turb_SA_RAE2822.cfg. However, the program got stuck after the initial guess. Here is a screen shot of the process and and an error message if I terminate the program. Can anyone help me to figure out what is the problem and how to fix it? Thanks, GE |

Hi,
The only thing the error message says is that you interrupted the program with ctrl+c. Are you sure SU2 was not running in the background? You can cd to folder DESIGNS/DSN_001/DIRECT and have a look at the log files see if the code is running. |
