Hi all,
I've run into a snag in my attempts to learn SU2. I have no difficulty running the tutorials provided but I noticed the laminar cylinder tutorial does not produce enough recorded iterations to make an animation. How might I tweak the settings of the .cfg file so that I can create an animation? Also, if someone could direct me to material that will increase my understanding of CFD/DFT simulation I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance!

Adam

Hi Adam,

Are you running the simulation steady state? If you run the simulation unsteady then usually SU2 will output files after a set number of user defined iterations which can be used to create an animation.
