Hi

I would like use SU2 to make adaptation on 3D problems.
I have version 4.1.2. The various options for adaption are in the file config_templage.cfg. One of the choice is ADAPT_BOUNDARY to refine on the boundary surface. There is another variable for using an analytical function for the surface (Analytical_Surface) when making adaptation but it has not been implemented.
If I am putting TRUE for ADAPT_BOUNDARY, will the adaptation consist simply in assuming straight lines segement for 2D and planar surface(triangular or quad) for 3D?
As it seems there is no attempt to represent the local surface curvature, I will get a faceted representation of a curved surface on the refined mesh.
Is my interpretation correct?
