I run one of the the SU2 Edu example airfoils: airfoil_naca4412_selig.dat, default configuration, and RANS.

After a successful run, I open the flow.vtk and find the scalars Skin_Friction_Coefficient, Heat_Flux, and Y_Plus have the first value as non-zero and the rest of them are zeros.

Is that normal?

All other scalars seem to be correct.

Thanks.

Thanks for the question
There was an issue with the paraview format recently which was fixed, so the most recent release may help.
However, this could also be due to the surface marker: if you set the boundary as MARKER_EULER, it will be a slip wall which will have zero skin friction. For a no-slip wall the boundary condition should be heatflux (with heatflux set at 0 for adiabatic) or isothermal.
