Hi,

I noticed an option for frozen viscosity in the turb_SA_RAE2822.cfg test file:
Code:
% Adjoint frozen viscosity (NO, YES)
FROZEN_VISC= YES
This thread from a few years ago says that this option turns the adjoint turbulence model on and off which may affect convergence:
Quote:
Setting the frozen viscosity to NO will enable the adjoint turbulence model (S-A) that is implemented in the code.
However, when I looked in the config_template_basic.cfg and config_template.cfg files I could not find this option. Is use of the frozen viscosity option not recommended?

Thanks,
Jason Monschke

EDIT: I should also mention that I'm using SU2 v4.1.2.
