Hello,
We are currently using Fun3D for all our External Aero CFD work but Fun3D's lack of wall functions is forcing us towards really large grids which really reduces our design throughput. Does SU2 have wall function capabilities which we could use as an alternative when we are willing to lose some accuracy. ? Thank you Jb |

Hi Jb,
There was an ongoing activity to implement and validate a wall model. https://github.com/su2code/SU2/tree/...Wall_Functions If you have some time or you know somebody interested... it would be great if you could take a look at the status of the branch and contribute to the open source initiative. Thanks for looking at SU2, Best, Francisco |

Hello all,
Does anyone know if there is a certain type of wall function out there used for very rough surfaces? Yours, respectfully, Siamak Gharahjeh |
