Hello to everyone!

I'm in trouble with the shape_optimization.py. I'm following the instructions of the tutorial for optimization (https://github.com/su2code/SU2/wiki/Constrained-Optimal-Shape-Design-of-a-Fixed-Wing) and computing in SU2 v3.2.8 with the Test Cases of the same version.

This is the error:

RuntimeError : Path = /home/federica/TestCases/optimization_euler/steady_oneram6/DESIGNS/DNS_001/DIRECT/,
Command = mpirun -n 1 usr/local/bin/SU2_CFD config_CFD.cfg
SU2 process returned error '255'
[proxy:0:0@federica-VirtualBox] HYDU_create_process (./utils/launch/launch.c:75): execvp error on file usr/local/bin/SU2_CFD (No such file or directory)

I donno why, coz I find the file in the directory usr/local/bin and it's an executable.

When I try to run the command with -n 0 this is the error:
Command = usr/local/bin/SU2_CFD config_CFD.cfg
SU2 process returned error '127'
/bin/sh: 1: usr/local/bin/SU2_CFD: not found

How can I fix it?

Hi Fedey90,

make sure that you have set the environment variables correctly like it is described here:
https://github.com/su2code/SU2/wiki/...ment-variables

Furthermore consider to update to the new version 4.1 if you need any further help.

Good morning. I just see that I set all the variables during the installation. The same error occurs. So I'll try to install the new version. I'll inform you if it will be done

Here another problem: I downloaded the new Test cases.git, but in the steady_one ram folder (in optimization_euler) there isn't any .cfg file. How can I solve it? Remember: I'm following your tutorial

The config files are in the SU2.git. The folder is called TestCases
