Hello everyone,
I am new to SU2 and trying to simulate a transonic flow over a payload fairing. When I am running the simulation, I am getting absurd values of 'Cl' and 'Cd' on my terminal.
I don't where I am making mistake. But, it seems there can be a mistake in providing boundary condition in my mesh file. I am attaching the jpg file for your reference, kindly guide me to what type of boundary condition I should use for the connector originating from the cylindrical portion (after the boat tail) for the simulation. The case for simulation is 2d axisymmetric.

Any sort of help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Can you be more specific in what actual simulation you are running? It looks like you have a RANS grid in 3D. If it is in 2D, you should be able to put a slip boundary condition up to nose and then wall condition for the actual vehicle.

Hello Sir,
First of all, thanks for your concern and I suppose I have find my mistake in the problem definition. But, for your mentioning of slip boundary condition, could you tell more about how it works and where to use or not use it ?

You would use the slip boundary condition in this case up to the nose for the axisymmetric flow. It enforces a flow tangent boundary condition, but not a no-slip condition since there is no surface.
