Hi, everyone:
I suffered a serious problem about CGNS files. I have a mesh file with CGNS format, but while I launched the SU2_CFD, an error occurred : !!! Error !!! Mesh_1.cgns is not a CGNS file. Now exiting... The mesh file is generated from salome platform, the version of libcgns l is 3.2.1, I configured the SU2 with CGNS correctly. Can anyone help me with this error? Every suggestion is expected! Hey LeeJearl,
There are a few options that you have to make sure to hit in order for your CGNS mesh to work. % Mesh input file MESH_FILENAME= mesh.cgns % % Mesh input file format (SU2, CGNS, NETCDF_ASCII) MESH_FORMAT= CGNS If you can't find these options or are still getting errors please upload the config file and the mesh and I will take a look. Best, David |

LeeJearl,
One more thing to check is if your installation of SU2 is able to run the CGNS test case (https://github.com/su2code/SU2/wiki/...personic-Wedge). If this goes well you should check if you can open your mesh in ADF viewer inside of the CGNS tools to make sure you don't have compatibility issues. Best, David |

Thank you for your reply, I think the problem must caused by the hdf5, the SU2 build with not hdf5, but my CGNS file based hdf5 library. Best, LeeJearl |
