Reading extertnal displacemnt file for grid deformation

i want to use the external displacement file given by the abaqus as input to the su2 for grid deformation .hw can that be dne .if possible wat shud be the format of the file that contains the displacement values that has to read for grid deformation. help needed if anyone can

It's been a little while since I've used this feature, but if I recall correctly the easiest way to figure out the file format is to run SU2_DEF will all the settings to use an external file but with the specified deformations input file NOT in the working directory. This causes the program to output a file in the correct format, with no deformation. You can then replace the values in that file with your desired values, and run SU2_DEF again. Look through the config_template file in your SU2/ directory to make sure you are using up-to-date options. |
