Hi,
I just tried inviscid flow over cylinder(Incompressible) with EULER_EXPLICIT time stepping and 2ND_ORDER_LIMITER. It is not converging and leading to unphysical results. But with EULER_IMPLICIT the results are fine. I would like to know whether its a bug in the solver itself. Please follow the following links for the config and grid files which I used. Have you tried to reduce the CFL number with the explicit formulation?

Thanks for you reply.
Yes.! I have tried Explicit Euler-stepping and RK-stepping with CFL number as low as 0.5. Still the problem exists. |
