I was wondering, and I couldn't find anything posted on this forum, so starting new thread.
Is there any benchmarking done for SU2 for scaling for parallel processing for large number of processors? The other day I saw some benchmarking done for Ansys-mech in my company. Would be good to know if similar attempts have been made for SU2 in past or not. -- Nilesh

Hi Nilesh,
Thanks to our collaboration with Intel https://software.intel.com/en-us/art...cs-at-stanford we are improving a lot the SU2 parallelization. In particular, the first set of results are presented in http://su2/documents/SU2_AIAA_SciTech2015.pdf Much more results and data to compare with other solvers will come very soon. Best Regards, Francisco Palacios SU2 lead developer |
