Hello everybody,
I am validating SU2 for the simulation of junction flows. I am woriking on the following ERCOFTAC case (http://cfd.mace.manchester.ac.uk/cgi...html&1&0&0&0&0) I have generated my own mesh with Pointwise according to the guidelines given on the website (let me know if you need the file). When I simulated the case with version 3.2.0 I got sufficiently satisfying results, In particular the size of the horseshoe vortex is OK (see image). However, I have some issues with v.3.2.2 since the size of the horseshoe vortex is way smaller than expected (see image). I've attached the configuration files I used for the simulations with the two different versions of SU2. There is no major difference between the settings I used to simulate the case with the two versions. I am now trying to figure out why this happened and any help is appreciated very much. In the mean time I've downloaded the latest version of SU2 (v.3.2.3) and I am running simulations with this version as well, I will update you soon. Thank you in advance, Z |

Problem was the results were not fully converged.
