I'm architecture student in my final year. I want to interface cfd analysis in Rhino Grasshopper for wind tunnel analysis. I after some searching I found out that SU2 may be most appropriate for that. Have in mind that I'm cfd newbie.
So far I have installed SU2 and I can run the examples. In grasshopper I have a script that can easily export a mesh as a STL. I have problem converting STL to SU2 mesh-files with a script. Basically I'm looking for a library that will convert the mesh in .su2. I think running the solver programatically wont be really the problem, and the post-processing of the results would be generally straightforward, but if you think there might be problems that I don't currently realize, please elaborate. Grasshopper supports c#, vb.net, python so if the library is directly compatible with .net it will be even better. Any suggestions, or tips that come to your mind would be also greatly appreciated. |
