Hi all,

I met with a problem that SU2 crashed at the step of "Initialize Jacobian structure (Navier-Sokes). MG level: 0". It does not help by turning off multigrid option.

Could anyone give a suggestion?

Best regards,

Ruifeng Hu

Thank you for your interest in SU2
Can you please post more details, specifically what the error message is if any, what kind of problem you are running (aka: Euler or Navier Stokes, what freestream conditions), or if you are running one of the cases from the TestCases repository?
If you have not already done so, have you tried the tutorials and if so do you encounter this problem there?

Hi Heather,

Thanks for your reply. My case is a Ma=0.3 flow past an aircraft, and I tried to solve Navier-Stokes equations with S-A turbulence model and implicit Euler method. While the computation stopped at the step I have described without any error message.

Now I am using 4th-order R-K explicit time scheme, and the code works fine.

Best regards,

Ruifeng
