Hello,
I use SU2_MSH to change a 3D mesh with the grid adaptation capability. But when using the mesh_out.su2 to simulate, it appears that" The surface element(1,5070) doesn't have an associated volume element". Could you help me resolve this problem? (2D mesh adaptation is very good) Thank you very much. |

Hi Wang,
did you manage to adapt mesh on a 3D model? Because I have been trying to do so and it does not seem to work on my 3D mesh. I mean, the code generates a new output mesh file but when I look at it, it has the same number of elements as the old one. Cheers! Facundo |

SU2 can generate a .plt mesh. It shows the change between the generated mesh and the original mesh. You could try 2D mesh and the result of mesh adaptation is good.

Hi Wang
I'm trying to run SU2_MSH for airfoil RAE_2822, but when i'm using mesh_out.su2, i have an error. Could you please send me a config file (with grid adaptation options) and restart files (i.e flow_solution, adjoint files..) of your case? Thank you Last edited by Bachduong; September 20, 2014 at 14:17. |
