I am interested in running some meshes with SU2 that are provided in CGNS format. However these contains multiple zones and therefore the SU2 CGNS reader doesn't support these. I was wondering if anyone would be so kind to assists me in converting these? I believe this should be possible by importing into Pointwise and then exporting via the SU2 plugin to the native .su2 format? I do not have a Pointwise license myself, so maybe there is a kind soul out there with a Pointwise lisence that would help me in converting these into the .su2 format?

The files I am interested in is located here: http://aero-comlab.stanford.edu/vdweide/CGNSFiles/

Many thanks for any help! Very much appreciated.

Since the meshes are in CGNS format it might be possible to load them into an open-source meshing tool and convert to single-block CGNS from there. (Once it is a single block su2 should be able to load and convert the mesh)

Thanks, do you have any suggestions for open source meshing tools?

Maybe http://geuz.org/gmsh/ or http://www.larosterna.com/index.html . They also provide SU2 output format.

Cheers,
Francisco
