Dear all,
I have a somewhat really simple question. I am trying to do a discrete adjoint computation for the Euler equation on the quick tutorial test case of SU2. But I cannot find the configuration input that enables a discrete adjoint computation. I have tried adding ADJOINT_TYPE = DISCRETE to my config file but I have an "unrecognized error" : WARNING: unrecognized option in the config. file: ADJOINT_TYPE I have searched into the config template and can't find what is the option that enables a discrete adjoint computation. Can someone please help me ? Thank you very much. |

At this point we are not supporting the Discrete Adjoint (it was available in old versions of the code). The good news is that we are currently working on an Algorithmic Differentiation of the entire SU2 code, stay tuned for news and updates!
Thanks for using SU2 |

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I will thus wait for the updated version. |
