Hi there,

This is a kind request to the developers.

After the installation of SU2 (both serial or parallel version) on my machine, I would like to make sure that everything went fine by verifying that I get exactly the same results as in the provided test cases.

Would it be possible to make available for download some Solution files of the test cases? For instance the files "solution_flow" and "surface_flow" (both in Paraview and Tecplot format), convergence history, etc. Maybe just for some of the standard test cases provided (Onera6 wing, Naca0012 air foil, ... )

It would be very useful along with the compiler's options used for installing, and both for the Serial and Parallel versions.

Thank you for your time and work. And please accept my apologies if the benchmarks are already available somewhere and I just was not able to find them.

Hi Goran,

Internally, we use continual regression testing to make sure that our commits do not break previously verified test cases. The python scripts for this purpose are available for you to run yourself. Make sure you have the directory su2/TestCases and run the command:

$ python TestCases/serial_regression.py

or, for parallel,

$ python TestCases/parallel_regression.py

This will execute a number of test cases and check them against previously verified results. I encourage you to run these scripts overnight, as they do take a while to complete.
