SU2 process returned error '139' while running hypersonic shape optimization

Hello everyone,
I am trying to run a 2D shape optimization case in hypersonic regime, using discrete adjoint. Firstly, I have performed the simulation in supersonic regime and everything works. But when I try to switch to the hypersonic case (using SOLVER= NEMO_EULER) the simulation blows up after the first direct step, during the adjoint one. The error that appears in the terminal is shown in Fig_1 The log_Adjoint.out is reported in Fig_2 Since it seems to be an error related to the SU2_CFD_AD function, I also tried to force this command directly inside the DESIGN/001/ADJOINT_DRAG folder: the error that appears in the terminal is shown in Fig_3 Do you have any ideas on how I can solve the problem? Hi Meoazz,
Thanks for using SU2-NEMO. At this time, NEMO does not have the capability for the discrete adjoint. I am currently working on finalizing the capability, including verification and validation; it should be available in the coming months. Wally |
