Hi everyone,
Can anyone help me with a few questions about SU2 and CFD? [LIST=1] I want to introduce a pitching moment constraint of Mz => -0.087, how I introduce that in SU2? Maybe Moment_Z < 0.087? I don't know the axis direction and moments in SU2 and this leave me crazy. [LIST=2] I set the RESIDUAL_REDUCTION = 6 and the RESIDUAL_MINVAL = -6. This mean the stop criterion for the residual is until the solver achieved to -6*10^-6? [LIST=3] My adjoint solution, after 10000 iteration achieve to -3.5 of the residual density. Again the RESIDUAL_REDUCTION = 6 and the RESIDUAL_MINVAL = -6 is set. For the adjoint solution decrease until -6 it is need a huge number of iteration. In an shape_optimization this will cost a lot. The value of -3.5 is a satisfaction value or I need to decrease more ? What impact have in decreasing this value for the adjoint solution and for the optimization? [LIST=4] In the optimal shape design definition I can define the upper and lower bound for each design variable. Using the value of OPT_BOUND_UPPER = 0.1 OPT_BOUND_LOWER = -0.1 means that, each design variable can move between 0.1 and -0.1 of its initial position? Thanks for you attention, João Lourenço |

I have the same doubt about LIST=1.
Please let me know what the answer is. |
