We are getting ready for our 2nd annual SU2 Developer’s meeting to be held in Stanford, CA on December 18-19 and we have more information to share:

We are planning a first day (Dec 18 from around 8am-1pm Pacific) of presentations highlighting significant contributions during the past year, including many topics such as:

- Advances in discrete adjoint methods and design, including aero-structural sensitivities,
- The new SU2 DG-FEM higher-order solver, time-stepping approaches, and shock capturing,
- Real-gas fluid dynamics,
- Turbomachinery applications,
- DDES formulations,
- Model-form uncertainty quantification in SU2,
- Aeroacoustics predictions and design,
- Adaptive mesh refinement,
- Improvements to the core code base,
- … and several others

During the remainder of the first day and the second day, we will also discuss a number of other topics such as our plans for the SU2 Foundation (SU2.org), code development / capability priorities, streamlining development processes, consistent licensing models, and other topics of interest to the developer community.
