Dear all,
I ran a small 1core job in su2 5.0 on my Win10 Laptop and get the following Error in Paraview 5.4.1 on the same computer when trying to load the vtk surface flow file: Generic Warning: In C:\bbd\7cc78367\build\superbuild\paraview\src\VTK\ IO\Legacy\vtkDataReader.cxx, line 1436 Error reading ascii data. Possible mismatch of datasize with declaration. ERROR: In C:\bbd\7cc78367\build\superbuild\paraview\src\VTK\ IO\Legacy\vtkUnstructuredGridReader.cxx, line 348 vtkUnstructuredGridReader (0000014AAF447730): Unrecognized keyword: 5.219948e-04 Running the same job on 1core in linux with su2 4.0 generates a vtk file that I can also load in my Win10 Paraview. So something seems incompatible between the su2 5.0 result and Paraview... Or am I missing something? Someone has noticed the same? Thanks in advance, kind regards, Johannes |

Hi,
I cannot reproduce this error with the current development version of the code. Check again with the new version which will be out hopefully next week. Tim

Hi Tim,
thanks for the quick reply. I did another calculation with a new mesh file and get the same error in Paraview, really weird.. The vtk-file starts with # vtk DataFile Version 3.0 vtk output ASCII DATASET UNSTRUCTURED_GRID POINTS 47537 float 0.000000e+00 1.305382e-05 -4.992990e-04 0.000000e+00 6.669952e-05 -4.949204e-04 0.000000e+00 1.195736e-04 -4.848528e-04 0.000000e+00 1.695027e-04 -4.696332e-04 0.000000e+00 2.175598e-04 -4.492599e-04 0.000000e+00 2.632160e-04 -4.239612e-04 0.000000e+00 ... somewhere inbetween then SCALARS Pressure float 1 LOOKUP_TABLE default 4.994981e-01 4.994560e-01 4.995479e-01 4.995955e-01 4.994804e-01 4.994904e-01 4.994607e-01 4.993336e-01 4.994640e-01 4.995502e-01 ...
