Installing SU2 how ?

Hello Everyone
I hope you can help me I am totally new to SU2 and ubuntu I installed a virtual machine and using ubuntu I downloaded su2-5.0.0 and extracted the folder and found two another folders ( bin and Quickstart) in the quick start there is two files (inv_NACA0012.cfg and mesh_NACA0012_inv.su2 ) in the bin there are many files( like the photo attached) what shall i do next ? i read that i must use the terminal , but how ? Thanks very much for your support and concern |

In Ubuntu, you can press "ctrl + alt + t" together to open the terminal, and then use commond "cd " to get the directory that include the two files(inv_NACA0012.cfg and mesh_NACA0012_inv.su2). Then, use commond "SU2_CFD inv_NACA0012.cfg". Several minitues later, you will get the solution. |
