Hi Everyone!
I made a simple machine that vibrates some plastic container inside a cage. The reciprocating motion is due to the rotation of a motor at a constant revolution of 110 rpm. I wanted to make an FEA study on the structural frame using multi-axial fatigue analysis; however, I'm confused as to what load and constraint should be included and shouldn't. I was able to determine the maximum torque required by the motor using Autodesk Dynamic Analysis. It gave me an answer of 3.1 x 10^6 N.mm. The forces on each joint are quite hard to determine because the dynamic analysis doesn't allow redundant joints. I would like to seek help on how could I determine the loads (forces/moments) as well as the proper constraints; may it be using software or hand calculations. I am attaching all the related images. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. 1.PNG 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg |
