Hello all.
Suupose, we have such a problem. A disk oscillates, in a tilt way, around axis that belongs to a diameter of a disk. Due to some limited stiffness of a disk material, the surface of the disk may deform, though it could be submicrons, let's say. And the task is to find the deflection of the surface of the disk. It might be harmonic analysis or, maybe, explicit dynamics!? (depends...) For that purpose it would be convenient to see deformations in a coordinate system that moves together with the disk as with the absolute rigid body. How that may be done in Ansys WB? Some Commands needed? |

You can create local (or “session”) coordinate systems in the Visualization module for postprocessing purposes: field output results can be transformed to a specified user-defined coordinate system. These user-defined coordinate systems can be fixed in space or move with specified nodes as the model deforms. Session coordinate systems persist for the duration of your session only and are available only for a single output database; however, you can save session coordinate systems to their associated output database file for use in subsequent Abaqus sessions.
