Hello, i'm working on some FSI simulation for artificial hip joint. The Fluent (fluid) domain was already good, but have some problem in the structure (solid) domain. Quite difficult to explain...
I am using transient structural in Ansys 16.0, and required to re-position the bipolar hip joint geometry imported from solidworks. What i have to do is to make the the hip joint model into several positions for simulating daily human activities and movements. In short, it needed to be moving, and at the same time receives forces too. The move and forces of this components would create pressure for the fluid inside, and that would be used in the FSI. I have tried using the Remote Displacement feature for moving the parts, and giving the Force. But after working with the connection joints (spherical joints), the second part (cup) always make into the wrong direction instead of moving within with the femoral head. A little feedback and inputs would be much appreciated. Thanks! |
