Hi guys,

i'm a mech. engineer involved in aerodynamic design of axial turbomachinery.
Usually the structural mesh is provided by my colleagues involved in mech design, but, for this application both mech/aero analysis must be performed in my group.

in my group all of us are a bit newbie in post processing of the results in Ansys ; for our in house aero-tools, we need of the connectivity of the structural skin mesh (mesh on the blade surface); shortly for a tria element we need to discover the nodeID of the 3 nodes that form the element.
I’ve created a named selection of my blade skin surface and i wrote a macro that extract each (x,y,z) for all nodes, but, i fail when i wanna get the (ID1,ID2,ID3) triplet for an elements.

Someone have an idea on how i can solve my problem?
thanks a lot!
