Hi
Dear Engineers I am modelling a nonlinear buckling for a cylinder in ansys workbench and I activated large deflection. and I faced this error : " An internal solution magnitude limit was exceeded. Please check your Environment for inappropriate load values or insufficient supports. Also check that your mesh has more than 1 element in at least 2 directions if solid brick elements are present. Please see the Troubleshooting section of the Help System for more information. " does anybody know what is it for? best regards |

You may have to post some pictures of your mesh and setup...

As a first comment right away, you would need more mesh elements at cylinder cross section/ diametrically... by sharing setup, I would have expected to have some idea or images of fixtures, loads, etc.
