Hi!
I have a triangular mesh obtained by a 3d Laser scanner and now I'd like to run a few structural analysis , mainly simulate deflections under certain static loads. The mehs is and has to be relatively large, say 100.000 faces.

Whats the proper way to deal with this sort of 'geometry' data?

From a few hints that I read I think the ICEM CFD component might be used to do the trick, but it does not seam to be strait forward.

See you
Flo
