Hello everyone,
I am in urgent need of help so whoever has any information on this error please post right away. Help your fellow FEA guy. I am trying to do a simple structural analysis of a hollow structural steel tube which is subjected to a high temperature and is kept fixed at both ends. After I run the simulation and try to visualize it, it blows up into a much larger outer dia hollow tube. Images are attached to describe this weird phenomenon. I am unable to explain it properly in words because it just seems to be abnormal. Solution.jpg file is the weird structure that i get when i try to visualize Original.jpg is the original geometry from the same perspective PLEASE HELP ASAP!! |

The results visualization scale is huge in your solution.. Just choose 'true scale' from left top corner result toolbar and you would be able to see the real-time deformation not the 'blown up' model.
