Dear all,
on Ansys Workbench (Static structural) - Mechanical I'm analysing the results obtained from a simulation. A frictional contact is involved, and I asked the software to provide me the Frictional Stress contour map for it. More specifically, I'd like to find a way to obtain the average frictional stress on that surface. The mean frictional stress calculated with the node values is not accurate enough, I'd like my average value to be weighted by the area of the elements involved in the contact. Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to do it directly, do you know if there is one? What would you suggest to do, otherwise? Unfortunately I'm a novice and I'm not practical with the APDL script language. Thanks in advance for your attention and help. Kind regards, Giulio |
