Hi all,
Im trying to simulate a gdi engine working under the homogeneous mode by using the ebu latct combustion model and the numerical ignition model. The problem i have is that it fails when igniting. There are altogether 16 cells set to be the spark and the equivalence ratio and temperature at the spark timing reach around 0.8~0.9 and 680K respectively My question is: what is preventing the ignition? Is the temperature too low for that? if yes is there any constant or switch to set to change the allowed ignition temperature for ebu models? are there any other methods to ignite the mixture other than using the default model(e.g. applying sorent.f to the case)? Thanks! |
