Spray injection and errors

Hi,
i'm trying to simulate a spray injection in a chamber (a cube). I'm new with star-CD, also what can you suggest who can help me ? (model or other tipps) I have parametrized a simulation with droplet atomization and break-up, with a k-epsilon model, there is just a static air in the chamber before the injection (a flow will come in the future, also there are no inlet and no outlet just a wall). I would like to see the spray. But when I start the simulation, I have an error : BEGINNING CELL TO WALL DISTANCE CALCULATION ***ERROR #018 *** NO WALL BOUNDARIES SPECIFIED FOR TWO LAYER MODEL APPLICATION What's going wrong ? I thank you in advance Simon |

My guess is you requested a Low-Re model. Either switch to a High Re model or grid your model for Low-Re & specify which wall boundaries you want to have Low-Re treatement.

hi,
the characteristics of my chamber are : chamber pressure = 60bar chamber temperature = 800K injection pressure = 1000bar injection temperature = 340K and no flow in the chamber. Why a low Re model at first ? why have I an error "no wall boundaries specified" ? I have just created a simple cube grid. What's the problem ? Thanks already for your answer Best regards |

Try "twol, off".
