Hi guys,
I'm wondering that how you can improve the mesh quality in es-ice. I mean we can control the mesh quality by changing some parameters during creating template or trimming. But sometimes I can have cells with negative volume or bad quality cells when I check the mesh at TDC, BDC etc. Is it possible to improve the quality of these cells in es-ice? Or, Can I export the model which include these bad quality cells to improve it by using an another software like Hypermesh? And can I import the corrected model in es-ice again? Please, let me know your experiences regarding mesh control or improving mesh. I really need them because I couldn't handle this situation on my own. Thank you. Regards, Can |

If you experience bad quality cells after trimming, you can for example use the VMerge command to manually manipulate cells. There are often areas with small cells or bad aspect ratios which can cause problems later. By using VMerge you can collapse these manually.
