Hi,
I'm trying to include spark ignition in my simulation. I am using my own reaction rate model (based on progress variable approach) and I have disabled Star-CD's reacting flow calculations. What I would like to do is define a profile for the progress variable at the spark ignition region. This profile should go monotonously from 1 in the burnt side to 0 in the unburnt side. I'm trying to do this in posdat.f but I have no clue to get the grid locations to define my spark region. I have grouped certain cells and given them a cell table number in prostar. I could set this to be 1, but the problem is then there is a sharp change from 1 to 0. Any ideas? Thanks! |
