Hi,
I have a simulation created in star CCM version 5.06. However, I only have access to version 5.04 now. My simulation cannot be open in the older version. What should I do? |

Hi,
you will need to install the 5.06 as there is no way to open a sim file of a new version in an old version or to export an old sim file version from a new starccm+ version. You can export the geometry with the new starccm+ version into a ccm file and import it into the 5.04, but you will loose all the boundary conditions, solver parameters, reports, derived parts, etc. CU, Matthias |
