mbn1454 is on a distinguished road
I have sine waves heating bridge superstructure. I only modeled 10 cm width of bridge and the length of simulation domain is about 80 ft. what kind of Boundary condition should I use for BC on 6 sides of simulation domain box.
I saw the star ccm+ tutorial about DFBI. The problem is that my waves are changing their shapes after they travel some distance and they even break.
I am trying to generate waves that are generated by flap type wave maker for which wave period and wave amplitude are mentioned. do I need to mention current speed for this? what kind of BC is best for this simulation?
I used velocity inlet, pressure outlet and symetry plane but my waves are breaking.
