Hello,

I have a problem using StarCCM+. I would like to use some results from Fluent analysis (XY Plot, .xy format) but when I try to import data (using Tools->Tables) I get an error message.
I used to work with Fluent and it's important to me to be able to import all plots from Fluent to use them in StarCCM+.
In StarCCM+ help, it is specified that the software can use .xy files but apparently there is something in the syntax of Fluent files that is not supported with StarCCM+.

Is there someone who had ever had this problem?

Thank you in advance for your response.

You can import a mesh from Fluent into STAR-CCM+, but not plots. You need to explain what you intend to do with the data in order to figure out the best way to import it.

Thank you for your answer.

What I am trying to do is displaying on the same plot data calculated with StarCCM+ and data extracted from a .xy file (created with Fluent).

I know I can use .xy files to create a Table and then use it to plot the data but the syntax used in the Fluent file generate an error in Star CCM+. Is there any way to fix this (except by modifying the original .xy file with a text editor, which is quite complicated when you have several different files).
