Hello,
I'm simulating a radial impeller. I've modeled a single channel with periodic BC's and so far I'm getting very good results. The simulation converges quickly, the velocities and pressures are right but the massflow is about 1/100 if the expected values. Even when I use a massflow inlet and specify the correct flow the report shows low values. I'm pretty sure that the results are physical but I'm doing something wrong while creating the report/monitor. Any ideas? |

Check the size of your domain. Maybe there is something wrong with meters and feet.

Hi beilke,
I've checked and the domain is fine. The speeds and pressures are also fine. Is the massflow averaged over the entire patch or is it indicative of only one cell? |

Solved it!
I was using area averaged and not massflow report. |
