I was doing the basic manifold meshing tutorial supplied with CCM+ ver 4.04.011 and got the following when trying to wrap the surface:
Wrapper::generateOctreeMesh: Largest Internal Volume does not exist. Try reducing the smallest relevant volume or reducing refinement sizes. Can anyone help me out here, is this a user induced error or a problem with the program. |

I reduced the gap closure size to 50% of base size and now it completes the wrapping, is this because i had holes in my surfaces then?
I noticed a couple of small holes afterwards but i didnt think this would produce a server error????? |

I think that you didn't close the manifold inlet pipe part well. It's not easy to click where you want all the points so rotate the geometry to see if it's really closed

I agree with robinfisichella, what you have to do is to reduce the mesh dimensions of the Surface Wrapper. i.e. changing base size, or reduce directly the gap closure size.
Thanks robinfisichella! |

Hey
I have the same problem, getting the same error when I want to execute mesh, I changed the Gap closure size but did not work, do you have any other recommendation ? many thanks |
