Hi, guys,
I'm struggling with accessing data from last time step. In a dyanmic simulation case, I created a Report of max temperature on some derived parts. How do I access its data from last time step, because I want to compare it with that from the current one.

I hope I described my question well enough.

I really need help. Could you please be so kind and help me?

Lots of thanks!

Hi.

You need to create a solution history for that. So you can choose your data to be stored (field functions etc.) the regions (regions, derived parts) and save frequency (every nth time step or every nth iteration etc). Then run the simulation. When the calculation finish, you can simply drag and drop the history node to the scene and explore the previous images. There should be a tutorial at the documentation. Its name is something like "vortex shedding". You can check the steps.

Thank you!
Would you please be kind enough to instruct me more?
How do you create a report to monitor said temperature change from two subsequent time steps, so you can quote it in your own user-defined field function?
