Importing a .msh file

Hi,
I'm trying to import a .msh file to star ccm. I've selected import volume mesh and then selected the the .msh file. it says import is complete, but i can't see the mesh. it's an empty scene. what do you suggest? thnx |

Create a new scene. Star has a rather quirky class system due to java references and a lot of times it's easier to just ignore the automation and create a clean scene. The Star equivalent of turning it off and on again.
Run the mesh check analysis. Verify the cell count is what you expect. Verify the range of x,y,z coordinates is also the range you expect. This way you know if you have a plotting problem or if you imported nothing. |
