Hello All,
I just wanted to ask if there is an option to give thermal conductance/resistance between different solid regions and if so, how do I calculate the value for two different types of materials. Thanks in advance. |

If you have more than one material then you likely already have it setup as one region per each. You can create interfaces between the regions during meshing. After meshing, set the interface type to a contact interface (the default is in-place interplace). After you change it to a contact type, the contact resistance option will appear in physics values.
The value for the contact resistance you need to get from a handbook or some standard. Real values for contact resistance vary wildly depending on how the parts are assembled. |
