Hi all,
I am working on overset methodology for vehicle door closing. I am facing with the following error after certain time step. Error in metrics computation. The mesh may have non-positive volume cells. This may be due to an invalid imported mesh or to errors initializing an interface. Repair the mesh before proceeding. I have performed volume correction operations; 'remove invalid cells' (face validity<0.9 and volume change <1e-3, default for rest of the functions) along with 'split by function (zero face indicator)' and 'split non-contiguous' post volume mesh generation. On checking the solution file, I found few cells having face validity<0.6. The option of 'removing invalid cells' along with 'split by function' and 'split non-contiguous' are disabled in the solution file. Is there any other way to remove/resolve this. Regards, Bitty |
