Simulation of a floater in VOF Waves

Hello community,

I'm running a simulation for a buoy in a 5th order Stokes wave in starccm+ and seem to be getting the appended results, I have gone through the star manual for DFBI motion and seem to have done everything correct. Could anyone maybe have a suggestion where I'm going wrong with this?

I have used a force damping model near the outlet, which is 2 x wavelength, other parameters are Wave height = 1.75m, Wavelength = 7.5m

Hi Jason,
Please give us more information, for example: what do these plots show? Is this blue UFO the free surface or what is it?

Hi Daniel,

Yes this is the free surface and these plots are the iso-surface plots (with the same settings followed in the starccm DFBI tutorial for a boat)
