I have a domain with a wheel at its centre on the bottom plane and I am modelling wheel rotation in an automotive application.
I am using an automated mesh and obviously only require prism layers on the bottom boundary (the road) but I have prism layers on every boundary (except velocity inlet and pressure outlet). Is there any way to remove prism layers from the left, right and top walls specifically when using an automated mesh? |

Create a surface control with the setting to disable prism layers and assign that control to those surfaces.

I have managed to remove the prism layers using surface controls but there is still a high cell concentration close to the boundaries.

I have just adjusted the surface size to a large value which has done the trick. Thanks for you're help
